🇲🇽 Fatima Bosch of Mexico Wins Miss Universe 2025; Philippines’ Ahtisa Manalo Finishes 3rd Runner-Up
MANILA, Philippines — The 74th Miss Universe crown has been awarded to Fatima Bosch of Mexico, bringing pride to her country in a spectacular finale held in Thailand. She was crowned by outgoing queen Victoria Kjaer Theilvig of Denmark, the first-ever winner from her nation.
The Philippines’ Ahtisa Manalo achieved a remarkable finish as the third runner-up, marking the country’s best placement since Bea Luigi Gomez reached the Top 5 in 2021.

The 2025 pageant returned to Thailand after the 2018 edition, which saw the Philippines’ Catriona Gray win. Out of 120 candidates, 30 were selected as semifinalists, then narrowed to a Top 12 for the evening gown round, and finally to a Top 5 for the question-and-answer segment.
As Fatima Bosch celebrates her historic victory, the global pageant community now looks forward to the diamond celebration of Miss Universe 2026 in Puerto Rico.
