Chelsea Fernandez Secures First Runner-Up at Miss Cosmo 2025!
Philippine bet Chelsea Fernandez made the nation proud by earning the first runner-up spot at Miss Cosmo 2025, held at the Cong Vien Sang Tao Creative Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on Saturday evening, Dec. 20.
A seasoned pageant queen, Chelsea has collected multiple national titles and international accolades. She secured her place in Miss Cosmo after finishing Top 6 in Miss Universe Philippines 2025 and achieving a semifinal finish at The Miss Globe 2022 in Albania, where she also topped the “Head-to-Head” Challenge.
Fernandez set a new record in the Miss Cosmo pageant by amassing over 28 million votes in the People’s Choice online poll, earning her a spot in the Top 10, and she was adjudged Best in Evening Gown. Her advocacy focuses on mangrove planting and environmental conservation, demonstrating how beauty can drive meaningful action.
Crowning the event, Yolina Lindquist of the United States was named Miss Cosmo 2025, besting 70 other delegates. Lindquist, with Swiss roots, is a summa cum laude graduate in Marketing, International & Financial Economics, German, and International Trade, and she actively leads six student organizations. Her platform, “Courage Over Cancer,” promotes research, fundraising, and patient outreach inspired by personal experiences with cancer.
While the crown went to Miss USA, Chelsea Fernandez’s remarkable performance and advocacy continue to inspire Filipinos and pageant fans worldwide, reinforcing the Philippines’ strong presence in international pageantry.
