Philippines clinches back-to-back victory as Nikki Buenafe Cheveh wins Face of Beauty International 2025 in Taiwan

MANILA, Philippines — Nikki Buenafe Cheveh secured another proud moment for the country after winning the Face of Beauty International 2025 crown on Sunday, Nov. 30, in Taichung, Taiwan — marking a back-to-back victory for the Philippines in the global pageant.
Cheveh, an Iranian-Filipino beauty queen from Pangasinan, bested 32 contestants from around the world to succeed fellow Filipina Jeanne Isabelle Bilasano, who earned the Philippines’ first-ever title in Kaohsiung last year. The consecutive wins further cement Taiwan as a “lucky stage” for Filipino candidates.
Both Bilasano and Cheveh are products of the same Miss World Philippines batch, where they previously earned the titles Face of Beauty Philippines and Miss Multinational Philippines, respectively. However, after the Miss Multinational pageant did not push through, Cheveh relinquished her national title to join the Miss Grand International Philippines search under the ALV Pageant Circle.
Cheveh later inherited Bilasano’s national crown during the 2025 Miss Grand International Philippines competition, where Emma Tiglao won the main title.
Her latest international triumph mirrors Tiglao’s October win at Miss Grand International, giving their batch another impressive back-to-back achievement.
Rounding out the Face of Beauty International 2025 court were:
-
1st Runner-Up: Lucy Dimitrova (Sweden)
-
2nd Runner-Up: Julia Podkolina (Finland)
-
3rd Runner-Up: Jing Mun Phan (Malaysia)
-
4th Runner-Up: Suppanika Nopparat (Thailand)
Cheveh’s win adds yet another milestone to the Philippines’ strong performance in global beauty competitions this year.
