Bea Millan-Windorski Wins Miss Universe Philippines 2026, Eyes Global Crown in Puerto Rico

A new queen has risen as Bea Millan-Windorski of La Union was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026 in a dazzling coronation night held on May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Millan-Windorski now earns the honor of representing the Philippines at the 75th edition of the Miss Universe, which will take place in Puerto Rico this coming November. Her victory marks a new chapter following the successful reign of Ahtisa Manalo, who finished as third runner-up in last year’s global competition.
The pageant night served as the culmination of weeks of intense preparations, preliminary competitions, and a newly introduced selection process. From an initial roster of 50 candidates, only 30 advanced to the final stage, chosen through a combination of fan votes and deliberations by a selection committee.
The star-studded event was hosted by Marina Summers, who returned to the Miss Universe Philippines stage, bringing charisma and energy to the program. The night was further elevated by performances from P-pop group BGYO, adding excitement to the already electrifying atmosphere.
Key personalities in the global pageant scene were also present, highlighting the growing prestige of the Miss Universe Philippines organization. The competition showcased not only beauty but also intelligence, confidence, and advocacy among the candidates.
Leading up to the finals, delegates shared their anticipation and emotions, emphasizing the importance of the swimsuit, evening gown, and question-and-answer segments—crucial rounds that ultimately determine the winner.
With the crown now on her head, Millan-Windorski carries the hopes of the nation as she prepares for the international stage. As she begins her journey toward the Miss Universe crown, many Filipinos are optimistic that she could bring home another victory for the Philippines.
