Rina-Andrea-Delos-Santos-Miss-Philippines-Earth-2026Rina Andrea Delos Santos of Ballesteros, Cagayan was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2026 after emerging victorious over 31 other candidates during the pageant held at the Malitbog Cultural Center in Bukidnon on Saturday, June 27.

Delos Santos impressed both the judges and the audience during the final question-and-answer round, where she emphasized her commitment to environmental responsibility. A community tour guide by profession, she said she is prepared to use the crown as a platform to promote sustainability and position the Philippines as a model for environmental stewardship.

Her confident response and advocacy earned her the national title, securing her spot as the country’s representative to the Miss Earth 2026 international pageant.

The coronation, however, also drew attention after reigning Miss Philippines Earth 2025 Joy Barcoma did not attend the event. Instead, the crown was placed on Delos Santos by reigning Miss Earth 2025 Natalie Puskinova of the Czech Republic.

Pageant organizer Carousel Productions has not issued an official statement explaining Barcoma’s absence, prompting discussions among pageant fans on social media.

Also named to the elemental court were Prima Joy Alamban of Tumauini, Isabela as Miss Philippines-Air, Alyssa Mildred Villariña of Mandaluyong City as Miss Philippines-Water, Patricia Anne Nichole Bangug of Agoo, La Union as Miss Philippines-Fire, and Roveelaine Eve Castillo of Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte as Miss Philippines-Ecotourism.

Delos Santos will now prepare to represent the Philippines at the Miss Earth 2026 pageant later this year, where she hopes to bring home the country’s fifth Miss Earth crown.
