Philippines Achieves 4th Runner-Up at Miss International 2025 🇵🇭

Tokyo, Japan — The 63rd Miss International pageant concluded with the coronation of Catalina Duque Abreu of Colombia as Miss International 2025, besting 79 other delegates at the Yoyogi National Stadium 2nd Gymnasium on Thursday evening. Duque inherited the crown from last year’s winner, Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy of Vietnam, marking the fourth Miss International title for Colombia.

The Philippines’ Myrna Esguerra proudly secured the 4th runner-up spot, showcasing poise, elegance, and intelligence throughout the competition. She also claimed accolades in Best in National Costume, Best in Swimsuit, and Best in Evening Gown, highlighting her all-around excellence on the international stage.

The final gala capped two weeks of cultural immersion and pageant activities across Japan, celebrating international friendship, beauty, and advocacy. Esguerra’s Top 5 finish continues the Philippines’ legacy as a pageant powerhouse in Asia, joining past winners such as Gemma Cruz, Aurora Pijuan, Melanie Marquez, Precious Lara Quigaman, Bea Rose Santiago, and Kylie Verzosa.
